Hi!  I’m Julie Keefe.  My teaching career continues to teach me that we are ALL lifelong learners. There is nothing better than watching those light bulbs light up in a student and watching it grow brighter and brighter!!  If it isn’t lighting up…finding a way to help it light up is always an adventure that I never give up on.

     I started teaching in Houston, TX in 1991 and I lived there for 10 years teaching grades 5 and 6.   I have been teaching at Dunning since 2001.  Here I have taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 5.  I have taught ESL classrooms as well as standard classrooms and even a blend of them. I enjoy teaching fourth grade!

     On a personal side, I have a son, Christian.  He graduated from  Keene State College May of 2018.  He is a graphic designer for The Paper Store.   My weekends are filled with family and friends!  I believe in enjoying every day and that it is so important to spread sunshine.  There are a lot more smiles when there is sunshine!!
